5 Types of Parrot Enrichment

What is enrichment? According to the Smithsonian’s National Zoo & Conservation Biology Institute, "Enrichment allows animals to demonstrate their species-typical behavior, gives them opportunity to exercise control or choice over their environment and enhances their well-being. Enrichment is just as essential to animal welfare as proper nutrition and veterinary care."

  • I just rehomed a African grey I am having alot of trouble with him not wanting to come out of his cage. His background is not good he was in same cage for 14years. I don’t know what to do to stop this behavior? Any help would be appreciated.
